Freshman Ethan Vinson became the first Plattsburgh State men's indoor track and field student-athlete of the year to provisionally qualify for the ECAC meet as the Newport, N.Y., native turned in a fifth-place performance in the 1,000-meter run at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic on Saturday.
